This is at a distance of 36 km from Tirupathi.Idol of Sri Kalahasteswara can be seen.Here the Linga one of the basic from(vayu) can be seen

Other forms,as Agni at Tiruvannayar kovil, as rock at Kanchipuram can be seen.This is popularly known as Kasi of the South.Devotees in thousands visit this place.This idolils of Rahuvu,Kethuvu can be seen here.The most powerfull Parvathi appeared in the form of Gnanaprasoonambhika

It is said that,inside Temple was built in 5th century and outside temple built in 12th century.It is developed by Tamil Cholas and Vijayanagara Kings.This is discovered by Adisankara Charya.All the tradition were described exactly as a sataka called Sri Kalahasti Sataka

Muttuswami Deekshitar of Kamataka described the greatness of the temple in the form of chanting called Sri Kalahasthesa

This is just beside the hill which is on the bank of river Swarnamukhi in the west direction the compound walls are to some extent are part of the hill.On the north with the hill Durgambi.On the south ,With Kannapari hill,on the east  with Kumara Swamy hill.The temple construction is no some extent.has not followed a plan.A big tower was built by Sri Krishna Devaraya just before,the main gate of the temple.In the tunnel at the outside compound wall,idol of Palavinayaka can be seen.He is known as Kshetrapalaka this is situated approximately at a depth of 24 feet of level of the river Swarnamukhi.At the inside compound wall,idoils of Siva and Parvathi can be seen

Some parts of the construction were devopled by Vijayanagara kings which were built by Chola kings in 10th century.Now they were very attractive.Moreover,In 11th century Manikahanateswara Swami Temple was built by Rajaraja Chola and again it was rebuilt by Third Kuluttunga in the year 1196.Here Swamy known as Manikengayudayi Nayinar.Idol of Vishnu can also be seen here

Temple history is similar to that of Jambukeswara temple of Tiruvanakkai.According to the history of the temple.Siva blessed the spidar,elephant and the snake for their devotion.It is said that spider got Moksha(hevens) in Krita Yuga and elephant and snake got their Moksha in Tretayuga

To provide his devotion to the Lord,a devotee called Tinnan,a hunter gave his eyes.So he called Kannappa.Idol of Bhakta Kannappa can be seen at the main temple.Also devotees like Nakkadevara,Indra ,Rama,Muchukunda also chant the lord wonderfully

The lights arranged round the Vayulinga in the main temple are always moving this is to Symbolise the breathings of the Lord in the form of Vayulinga.In the premises an old idol of Sri Gnanaprasoonambica can also be seen.Here Mahajivatari festival will be conducted wonderfully.Daily many devotees came to visit Lord.As there was good road facility from Tirupathi and Chennai,one can reach it in hours.from chennai,it takes just 4 hours.


                     Kanipakam-Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka Swamy Temple


This is at a distance of 12 km from Chittoor,which is at a distance of 70 km from Tirupathiand is in the village Kanipakam,Swayambhuvu Sri Vinayka Swamy was discoverd in 11th century.This place has history of 1000 years.The swamy was situated on a well and supposed to fulfill the desires of the devotess.There is a water flow to prove it is a well.The water is taken by the devotess as Theerdha.It is  said that the size of the idol was increasing gradually.The reason is that the silver cover made in the year 1947 is not able to cover now.Besides this ,the stomach of the lord will not be so big earlier but is means to be more bigger

 Early in the morning,daily Suprabhatam,Binduteerdhabhishekam from 4.30 to 5.45 will be conducted .From 7.30 to 8.00 palabhishekam from 9.00 to 12.00.Sankata hari Ganapathi Vratas will be conducted ,from night 9.00, 9.30 Pavalimpu seva will be done Brahmostavamu will be conducted for 21 days from Vinayakachavithi for Lord`s visit.Devotees wait in long quques for hours.In different Avatarams(forms) Swamy will appear daily to the devotees

Festivals such as Gramotsva (village festival) Hamsavahana Seva (service to God on the vehilce of swan)the vehicle of peacock.the vehicles of Rat,the vehicle of snake,the vehicle of OX,the vehicle of Elephant,Chariot Festivals.Tirukalyanamu and Vadayadhi are conducted during Brahmostavas

 Shelter which is maintained by Kanipakam Devastanam and Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam is available to devotees


                                 Aragonda-Sanjeeva Theerdham

It is situated on a hill called Arthagiri this hll is situated in the village called Aragonda,which is located at a distance of 12 km from Kanipakam,.A part of the hill slipped and fell down while Hanumantha was taking the mountain of Sanjeeva to revive Lakshmana to life in Tretayuga.This place which was called Arakonda Gradually became  popular as Aragonda.Bhaktha Anjaneyaswamy (Devotees Anjaneyaswamy ) is situated on the hill.it is sait that there are many medicinal values in the lake called Sanjeevateerdha
