There are flower gargens which are attaractive and decorated with ornaments.These were spread over 460 acres of land.The visit of these gardens in considered as a wonderful experience.These are four flower gardens in Tirumala
1.In the neighbourhood of Travellers Banglow
2. In the neighbourhood of Gogarbha Dam
3.In the neighbourhood of Sri Padmavathi Guest House
4..In the neighbourhood of Divya Ramam
Devasthanam is developing these gardens by planting trees every year.We can see hybrid,Varieties in Crontens Hybiscus,Boganviliyas etc.,We can see around 200 varities of trees.A book with all details of trees was published by Garden Department
In 14th Century a Vyshnava teacher Sri Ramanuja and his disciple Sri Anandalwar were supposed to start this garden.According to history,Tirumala flower gardens were developed for flowers for the purpose of worship in the temple in the name of "Dasanambis" in region of "Sattada Sri Vyshnavas.In edict of the temple,we can get the details of development of the gardens in 14th and 15th Centuries,The names of the gardens in the Tirumala are Andalwar,Tarigonda Vengamamba Garden,Hadhiramji Garden and Tallapaka Garden
Gadens got more beauty with lakes and tanks which provide water.Among these,Alwar tank,Mangalabavi,Anantha Palli gunta etc.are always provide water to temple gardens as well as provide water facilities to the gardens of rediotus flowers.devotees and local residents
Department provides flowers such as jasmine,jaji,rose,lotus ,Dhavanamu,Tulasi ,Kanakambaramu etc., which ere used for the worship of Lord daily on an average 500 kg of flowers were utilised for the purpose of worshiping.Sri Venkateswara at main temple in Tirumala and temple decoration .Then flowers are also usedto decorate halls,vehicles etc.moreover,devotees can use flowers to worship Lord in the name of Lord`s Pushpakykaryam.During Brahmostavam.T.T.D Department use flowers for flower shows and Pushpayagam,Let us not waste flowers by wearing and to utilise every flower in the name of God
